Here´s a short cut version of the band´s history: - Founded in 1984 and inspired by the music scene at that time, AR designed their own avant-garde sound, that was partially created and produced in cooperation with JOHN FOXX (ULTRAVOX). The result, in its romantic, minimalistic style, is in the shops right now. - in 1995 the founder of AR, Axel Treusch, started to work with Oliver Münch and Christian Münch (formerly “A New Ground”). In 1999 both bands merged into ATREA REDUX and released their double debut album “SO VERY DISTANT”. An outrageous piece of current german music!
